  • @djrikki2008

  • This video is one of, if not THE best MIDDLE FINGER to any other OS out there...

To anyone who says what he was doing is not useful doesn't have a CLUE as to why because he NEVER HAS and NEVER WILL be able to do this on any other OS...

SAM 440. Here in the video, older A1-G3 is used, which about SAM speed

  • @rasvoja ok i know sam. what board you have?

  • @russhurley

For MorphOS yes (see MorphOS on Wikipedia) for AmigaOS 4 NO,

you would have to buy Acube SAM 440 or SAM 460 board

  • @rasvoja thanks! what board? can i use a mac power pc board?

  • @russhurley

Yes, since its card based computer board now, like any.

There are not as many drivers as for Windows / Linux.

Its CMI 8738, Crystal cs4281, Creative Labs emu10k1 (Sound Blaster Live!), VIA Envy24, Sound Blaster 128, VIA686B chips supporter for now.

For more details type OS4 depot audio driver in google

  • @rasvoja so the amiga can play music files at 16 bit now?! wow!!!! What board you using? I guess there are only certain soundcards that work? (drivers?) thanks.

  • I wish there were a way to run this on a standard PC :( I want to try it but don't have an Amiga. :(

  • @fighterpiolt1992 Unfortunately, not of AmigaOS 4.1 itself.

There is a VERY similar OS that IS built for x86 though, called AROS. You might be interested into looking into it. At very least, it's fun to toy around with.

  • @russhurley

Its no longer Amiga Classic, but PowerPC board with PCI and PCI-E slots used. So there is no more Paula but a 16 bit card, Sound Blaster live for example. So yes WAV in mp3 are played by AmigaAmp :-)
