better than cloverfield imo, but this is extremely similar to cloverfield, the shaky cam works much better in this film, but its like wouldnt u drop the camera and run lol and its one of those movies where ur yelling at the dumbasses making stupid decisions like running up stairs to check stuff out, wth stay where u are dumbass lol so compared to cloverfield, acting = at least 10 times better, especially the rabified ppl running around was ruthless too, plus theres a rat that gets owned

Tebay71 I agree. Cannibal Holocaust has to be one of the first movies to be shot in this style. I don't know if there is a genre name for it but I have no problem with such filming becoming more popular as long as it is well done. I liked Cloverfield but I actually think the editing was better in this movie. They realy used the first person camera style to its highest potential.
