    perhaps it was something like those freaky situations where the snake was with an owner for a number of years until one time, the snake starved itself, and by the end of the week, it ates its owner

    At the end it's like "snake cut open..human inside." Well DUH. Snakes CAN eat humans. pythons/boa constrictors and anacondas can all do that.
