  • Thanks for your comment Baloncesto. However I dont like the tone of your comment. I agree absolutly with all wath you say but I do not agree with the way you say it.

However even Panamanians still have to learn that we were never part of Colombia.

It all goes to the very basics: proper education!

    Thanks again

  • Afro Colonials are more widespread than afro antillanos. However Afroantillanos outnumber the afrocolonial since they are urban populations. Just in Colon province the ratio is about 1 to 3 been Afroantillano more common.

  • Panama was always a political entity since very early colonial times. If you check your history books Panama joined the Simon Bolivar dreams of a gigant latin american state. As the union brokedown Panama was retained by the new country that came out of the union: Colombia. (former Cundinamarca, Antioquia and other small colonies) The US help came to free Panama for our benefit and for the benefit of the US to build his Canal. The history wrongly show Panama as been part of Colombia.

  • Hola Chsn09. Yes I am panamanian 100% handmade in a panamanian womb. jhajajaja.

My mom is half afrocolonial half colombian "costeño" or otherwise known as afrocolombian. My that is a mingle: gnobe indian, afrocaribbean and french. I am a mud dog. Which make me happy since I have a little bit of evrething. What about you???

  • @baloncestopanama LOL. Panama was part of Colombia. It is not anymore. So what are you talking about?

  • The stupidity of people talking about Panama as "part of Colombia" . We never were part of Colombia, we were part of "La Gran Colombia". If you have any doubt, then learn some history about when Panama became independent from Spain (1821) and when Colombia became independent as well...1819. So having said that, an occupied territory after 1830 is what we were and that it.......Le guste a quien le guste, le pese a quien le pese.

  • @FullSwagSyceGame507

In fact, USA had even thought about giving Panama back to Colombia, but the USA was just looking out for its own interests.

  • @FullSwagSyceGame507

Because, if you notice not once in the 1800s did Panama support or back Panama's uprisings !

Panama was not that interested in independence from Colombia, but was rather into more attention and funds from the national government from BOGOTA !

White Hispanic Panamanians (rabiblancos) were the only ones who had agitation towards an indpendent Panamanian nation!

The USA just exploited Panama and violated relations with Colombia and the world

  • @FullSwagSyceGame507

Actually, you have to realize that when you say "we" it is not really we !

The only Panamanians who wanted seperation and ultimate independence from Colombia was the white elite of Panama better known as RABIBLANCOS who were based out of Panama City in the walled protected section !

The whole event of USA granting and elevating Panama's status as a nation was nothing but a SCAM and a WALL STREET perk !

    Colombia was not SELFISH !
