this is my most recent set up, im happy with the way it is, but i might add things. i dont know yet. The filter im runnning is a FLUVAL 404/405 canister filter (for up to 100 gal.)i love this filter. extremely quiet, works really well, and is very easy to clean. i have had these fish for about 7 months now. i first had them in a 30 gal.(that was very bad of my part)and they have now been living in this 85 gal. for about 5 months. they are very well kept. very healthy and decease free. i have 2 blue crayfish but they didn't come out this time, maybe in the future i'll try to film them. there diet consists of HIKARI CICHLID GOLD and live feeder fish about once every 2-3 weeks hope you guys like it, and any questions i'll gladly answer. thanks :)

I just put crushed corals in the tank last night. PH is going up.... hopefully, it stops around 8.

buy a pH buffer at your LFS or online, or just add baking soda, but not too much. google it, and you'll find many ways too increase you pH

I have 9 cichlids in my 55 gal tank. 3 South American and 6 African. PH is 6 (mayb Less, that's the lowest on the test card) and for some reason they are doing fine... Any idea how to increase the PH?

Well I guess if the PH is close to 7 maybe both can manage.Your albino oscar is really nice by the way. I used to have one long ago. Miss him.

I'm a sucker for Labidochromis Caeruleus and that one you have is very nice.
I was feeding mine HIKARI CICHLID GOLD till I found New Life Spectrum Cichlid Formula.
my fish like it much better.
