Flames of War - In Game - Germans vs. Commonwealth - Battle Report (part 4)

Featured here is a demo/battle report based on the game of Flames of War. This game featured a board designed by myself (TheTerrainGuy). The forces used in the game were German StuG Company + 3rd SS Panzergrendiers vs. British Infantry Company + 3rd Canadian Infantry. No minis or humans were harmed during the filming on these videos.

This is most excellent. If I could play something other than 40k, it would be flames of war for sure. Just isn't much support for it around me (or anything for that matter).

Not to mention playing a game with this type of terrain is special in its own right.

This is great, I wanted to get into Axis & Allies but this looks great. So what happens with the unit that fails a morale check and retreats? Do you get to redeploy them later? And how do you decide which units retreat after you fail a morale check?

Great battle guys ! I play a lot of brit paras. Your terrain is amazing ! Is it modular ? Can it be transported ? I've been thinking of modelling something similar. Does it ever get boring when the terrain cant change all that much ?

Nice battle report, also I have been taking a bit of an interest in FOW lately, and I was just curious about the Canadians. I have not been able to see any Canadian miniatures so are British miniatures just used represent them?

wow i thought the germans were gonna get murdered and it all seemed very one sided. that victory was really close and really cool. and i dont have to say anything about the table it speaks for itself

Sweet video, I watched all four parts and learned a great deal about FoW. I started a month ago to put a unit of my own together and decided to start with Canadians also (since the majority of what I find out of allied players is either US or USSR). I love the table you guys made, I definitely need a game room to do anything that big!

Wow, very nice. Really appreciate you doing the whole game, nice to see. Seems like things kinda fell apart at the end - but maybe it was real late or something. The last vid report was very spare dude wtf!
