Steve Jones plays the Macbeth Mk1 Modular Synthesizer in a very 'Model D' style! This guy plays this stuff better than me...!
This is the sound of two Mk1 Oscillator 'A', Mk1 Mixer 'A', Mk1 Filter 'A' and the Mk1 Dual EG module. The controller keyboard here is the now somewhat ancient Ensoniq EPS. The organ is the vintage, early eighties Korg CX3. Also seen here is the inert MacBeth 'micromac' prototype.
Recorded sound is direct to the microphone on one Sanyo Xacti CG-10 camcorder.
I hope you enjoy! Ken M

  • Sounds cool, very Wakeman like! :-)

But it seems there is something wrong with the audio track, there is a regular glitching/ticking going on. :-( Bad upload or???
