The Bay County Historical Society has a large museum building which houses two floor levels of Exhibits, a Research Library, Theater and Gift Shop. The society preserves the Trombley House, the first framed structure erected in Bay City. It also does tours of historic Bay City and sponsors the popular River of Time festival held annually.
