Yeah. Unfortunately, since SH4 ( which is still good ), the series' quality began to decay. When Origins was released, it was doomed to hell.

Now I'm not a big fan of Silent Hill, in fact the only Silent Hill game I have is 3 which I can't evenplay because the controls are god aweful, but tell me if this is true about the town. From what I was told the town of Silent Hill is alive of sorts and it forces you to confront your guilt and won't let you leave until you do. I'm not sure if thats true, could someone tell me?

I been a fan of the original series for so long. SH2 is overall the best game in the franchise because of its beautifully told storyline and no another game had the same impact as the SH series. Team Silent knew that they were onto something great with not specifically the story or gameplay of Silent Hill 1, but the setting and atmosphere. SH2 also has one of the best soundtracks i have ever heard with Theme Of Laura being my favorite.
