  • Don't get me wrong. I have nothing but respect for Mr. Weber but, his non slide last step drives me crazy. He always look like he's sticking at the line.

  • And he whips his arm out to the right....

  • Does he own a bowling alley in Mooresville, North Carolina called Victory Lanes?

  • Sure does. 40 laner...

  • It's amazing how this was 22 years ago. Great match. :)

  • These guys did not have to shout and make silly gestures to the crowd like they do now. Their bowling styles and professionalism did all the talking for them.

  • @thiswilldoblue Hard to tug it left when you do that. Pete also has a "fearless follow through" to quote Bill Taylor. :)

  • @katanakeith You certainly can't argue with the results. He achieved icon status because it worked.

  • i bowl at his center in gastonia nc george pappas liberty lanes aka321

  • This is going to sound strange, but I like to watch the first minute or so of this video about once a week. Seriously, go back and watch the first 15 seconds of this video. Can you imagine that on an ESPN telecast today? I miss all 4 of these guys -- Chris, Bo, Dick AND George Pappas. Excellent post!

  • Schenkel: "Many a good tune has been played on an old violin!" Love that. :D

  • I've noticed that as well. I think it got worse as his career went along. But, hey, he's the bowling legend and we're not, right :-)

  • omg u know how much i'd pay to bowl in an airplane?

  • wow george pappas is still good today i bowled him in a tournament called tough shots tour in the finals and he whooped me.. haha he's like 60 something!
