3 Trains in 1 hour. A rare sight in Lee's Summit MO,

Amtrak usually comes through between 4:32 & 4:40. MNA is usually either waiting on track 2 or parked in Harrisonville 10 miles away. Expected between time 4:40 & 5:30. UP occasionally runs a coal train through while I'm there. Expected time : whenever. Filmed 5/26/09 FYI if you didn't already know I don't own a scanner so I cannot tell when the trains are coming. I usually film next to a blind 45mph corner next to US HWY 50, so I cannot hear or see the train in a good advance of time.

@train2589 I have one now, and it works pretty well. I have trouble hearing anything but the dispatcher though, I think my scanner is too weak to pick up the crew in the train.

Yeah i'd say that last engineer was a little heavy on the horn , just like you said HAHA ! He must have had a thing for that horn :P
