please stop pretending medical science saves anyone from cancer. it doesn't. the death rate has been consistent for 60 years. you have maybe 5 years of life added--5 miserable, depleted, wretched years. chemicals, radiation, surgery. that's medicine. that's all they have. and it just does not work. it only prolongs the misery.

to all the silly critics - Somers never said "don't see a doctor" or "do it my way". She is merely publicizing the fact that there exists alternative treatments that work for some people. Her main point is that you will never hear about these from an oncologist. That is absolutely true. I have been helping my in-laws battling cancer for over 6 months and have met Dr Gonzalez and Dr Burzynski in person. They are brave + brilliant men who have helped many people in their lives. You have no idea.

I've found her difficult to take seriously ever since she was on some show talking about her Malibu home catching on fire and she complained that the firemen were using chemicals to put out the fire. It seems to me she's on a different planet than the rest of us.
