This means that less than 0.15 percent of relevant scientists believe in creationism. And that is just in the United States, which has more creationists than any other industrialized country. In other countries, the number of relevant scientists who accept creationism drops to less than one tenth of 1 percent. (Robinson 1995).

I was a christian for many years and i have many friends who are of varying faiths, and idk a single person who denies evolution. Here in england being intelligent and having faith are not mutually exclusive, unlike over there where politicians need people to be ignorant to vote for them so say "college is liberal indoctrination" and "science is a lie from the pit of hell"

I think it's quite strange that there's a huge debate about this subject when the literal interpretation of creationism is a relatively recent thing. IIRC, the literal argument is less than 110ish years old.

Scientist: Earth is in an ideal location, because if it wasn't, we wouldn't be here.

The creationist believes that it is unlikely for us to live in such an ideal location, the logical truth is that it's extremely likely for us to be in such an ideal location.
