@BlueAvantiGuy I agree it doesn't directly prove god no, but it certainly discredits the big bang through the scientific method.
And proving a young earth does directly point in the bibles direction of what it teaches about reality and therefore makes it more trustworthy!
I started with the bible, therefore I am going to look at the bible first to find out what it says about reality, if I see it's falsified then I won't take it as science, but it hasn't been, yet.
@egamble22 Thats EXACTLY what I am saying!! We DISCOVER THEM, we don't INVENT them, therefore the laws of non-contradiction are non-material and universal (they exist on mars too) and a arrow to the knee for materialists like I think Toothfairy might be although he is very clouded with what he tries to imply
@egamble22 LOL!! God did it, that's reality my friend.
Evidence poiting for a young earth and a global flood would point us in the direction of the bible being true yes?
Although I agree you can never ultimately prove anything, heck even gravity is'nt ultimately proved, just extremely documented (yes, i believe in gravity -.-)
@egamble22 Don't forget that the probability of the first cell randomly appearing on earth easily ecceds ALL the electrons in the universe which is 10^80 even with the earthlike planets which you said there were 16 of? maybe 600 (i'm aware that these ones aren't even earthlike, lol) ? that is not enough
@AtheistToothFairy You have to define what you are talking about, the bible clearly states that god created the animals according to their kinds (i.e chihuahuas and wolfs are both dogs) and variation according to already existing information is what we see today, in fact when animals get introduced to a new environment natural selection gets rid of unuseful information = a loss and the individual will be less fit to adapt to new environments.
@BlueAvantiGuy Why is it so that for you and many others, that however much evidence points in his direction, there CAN'T be a god?

@egamble22 even allowing other planets it's not enough ;)
