I don't think all criticism comes from opera nuts or put all opera fans in the nut category. When people go on and on and through in personal rubbish they are usually from a particular croup of disturbed opera fans. Why do you bother attacking these people? Who cares whether they are vain, self-obsessesd, and selfish? These are not unusual characteristics amongst the famous and there is no evidence that these two are worse than anyone else. They're probably better than most.

I respect your opinion but you must understand that people have different tastes and you can't deny that even if KJ may not be a good singer in your eyes, she still has talent. I totally agree with you when u say that the best singers aren't on t.v but there are very talented ones on T.V nonetheless and when I met Katherine Jenkins to me she was perfectly down to earth and very nice. I respect your opinion but I ask you to respect mine.

2honestforU, you obviously feel very strongly about this, and you may be right. But I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve. Insulting me and West. won't help the singers you favour. I really couldn't care less whether Potts, Jones, Jenkins, etc, are "good" singers or not, according to opera standards. What I do know is that if they sing like opera singers, they'll lose their fans quickly. Would it make you happy if I agree that they have all got tiny squeeky little voices?

i'm dry and sarcastic in the same vein as Jack Dee and Jonathan Ross,it gets laughs from sharp witted people but the easily offended take it too serious,you bite too easy and dont like the truth.I love great singers but when not so great ones parade as though they are, they are bound to get the piss taken.And you would not believe how affected and far from down to earth A.Jones and KJ are!believe me I know from experience.I did say i work in the industry and the best singers r not on tv.fact.

Performers don't usually do charity gigs for free. She is not alone in being mercenary. Do you think that Pavaroti wouldn't have wanted a fee? I agree with you that Evans and Jason Howard are obviously not big stars.
