  • Matisyahu, I'm a Christian and I do not think you are lost or feel bad for you, and i don't believe you are going to hell.

You spread the word of God... of truth, and love, and that's all that really matters. You couldn't go to hell.

I saw you in Baltimore and D.C. last week, it was amazing!! I cannot wait until the next time you come back over here.

    So much peace and love,

    Emmy

  • I'm more spiritual than religious, but regardless, good music is good music.

  • @EmmyDayymusic I totally agree i'm also Christian

  • Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I was with the gentleman interviewed at the end of the video. There were 3 of us together that night who are friends. He is not a Christian; the closest label someone could put on him would be "Torah Observant".

It was a great show and we hope to see Matis perform live again sometime. Just wanted to share....

  • "I'm like a gateway drug into jam music"

...and jam music is a gateway drug into actual drugs

  • This is the best Journal so far. Two items impressed me: 1. You did the Shema in an alley, opening holiness in all areas you go, and more importantly showing it. Yasher Koach. 2. The honored citizen at the end, while even though a christian, resonated with the core meaning of Matisyahus songs and their source.

It is this resonance across both generations, cultures, and even religious faiths that I am impressed with. To be a light among all nations and people. Don't quit!

  • WOW

    thanks

    greez from bavaria

  • Really beautiful, thank you for sharing the art you chanel with the world. You inspire me to be a better person and make this a better world.

  • This was my fave tour journal so far.. Now I was raised Christian & I just consider myself spiritual now that I'm on a search for what I truly believe in.. I don't belong to any set religion but I do believe whether Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, whatever that as long as you're true to yourself & morals that true peace awaits with G-d.. after this life there is eternal life in HIS righteousness.

  • he came to my city and performed at a place where u had to be 18 or up to get in and I'm 17 so I was really bummed, but I heard it was awesome.

  • his light is bright! his song is strong!

i think that he is a genius! he will be able to make a big wave!
