  • how do you check what version of wine you currently have?

  • @millerca1986 I'd assume that there's a command similar to "wine --version".

  • I want to do this on my MacBook but when I go to the macports website there is no 'Leopard Universal' There is only Snow Leopard, Leopard and Tiger. I don't know which one to click. The site must have changed since this was posted.

  • When did you get your man? And did you update the OS. You need to know what OS Version you're using.

  • I got it December '08. It is a Mac OS X Version 10.5.8

  • @seite84 get leopard universal then.

  • Hi there, great video, however the link to the Terminal commands file is broken. Could you restore the link to the .txt file as I can't quite read your terminal commands in your video (the quality is not high enough I think)?

  • Hi, is the hidden "drive_C" file something created by Wine via windows that I can delete or is it a part of OSX already and should not be tampered with? I am going to go ahead and used Boot Camp so I need to partition and could use more extra space.

  • I just installed wine from the website, do I have to do the other steps?

  • I was hoping to learn from this.

Unfortunately, your tongue-flopping, spit sucking into the microphone single-handedly ruined the video for me.

  • The update trick is so cool :D

  • is there mac apps on windows program?

  • can this be done vise versa with this or any other program

  • hi. I have installed wine using terminal. My X11 is up to date. as you say in your video I type wine then press space and bring the installation file in afterwards

This is what it tells me after i try to install world of tanks:

    cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\WoT_beta_0.6.2.7_eng_setup.exe"

    what am I doing wrong?

I know that you probably get a lot of emails concerning this but any help would be appreciated. Thanks
