Jalbreak Ipod Touch 2G Vista Untethered
1.Update to the latest software of 2.2.1 on iTunes (or 3.0)
2.Download the custom Firmware to your desktop http://tinyurl.com/cqxe3r (2.2.1)
3.Download the Jailbreak software from Quickfreedom to your desktop http://tinyurl.com/d2ebqg
4.Open the Quickfreedom icon on your desktop and double click on the jailbreak box
5.Put iPod in DFU mode. Follow the instructions. Pause the screen if you need more time. If you think you messed up, just do it again.
6.Connect to iTunes in restore mode
7.Click the x and get out of the pop up window from iTunes
8.Click shift and while holding in shift, click restore in iTunes and it will ask you to find your firmware. This is where you search for the file you downloaded to your desktop.
9.Click on that file and click Open.
10.Let the computer do the rest!
11.Happy Jailbreaking!!!!!!!

Check your firmware and it will NOT work if you are on a recent version of iTunes.

Wen i go to the check the firmware on ipod by going to setting then about it says

2.2 instead of 2.2.1 is this ok?
