@Sunnygirl305 you need a basking light and a uv light. one is for temp the uv is so they can produce a viatmin to digest their food and grow. you can buy this one kinda expensive light that is a basking light that also produces uv.. it's like 2 in 1 but it's expensive like i said

UVA ways cannot flow through the cage that you have on top. I have two turtles and i have talked to many experts adn they recommended I have two lights. one as UVA and one as UVB. this way your turtle will keep a strong shell.

Thats odd... they told me one is fine.... in fact the only complaints i got were i needed a WAAAAY bigger tank for that LITTLE turtle lol
