Frontier Constabulary Commandant Siffat Ghayoor martyred in a suicide attack in Peshawar. A suicide bomber attacked a vehicle carrying the Chief of Pakistan's Frontier Constabulary in Peshawar, killing him and two others. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack. Rescue workers frantically tried to extinguish fires that engulfed several cars in the minutes after the attack near a major market in the city. Sifwat Ghayur, the head of the Frontier Constabulary, was martyred in the attack along with his driver and bodyguard, said Abdul Rahman Khan, a local police officer. The explosion also injured 14 other people

Not many people know that he was the nephew of Sardar Abdur Rab Nishtar, a prominent Pakistan movement activist.

He was a brave man, learned, honest, polite yet very result oriented person. May his soul rest in peace and God give strength to his family to overcome this loss. As a nation it's a huge loss!
