Cobalt ss vs. a 90s camaro at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, CO during the 2009 High School Drag Races

My friend of a friend who's driving the cobalt stalls out and destroys clutch/transmission during takeoff. She had to eventually be pushed off the dragstrip and her car sat in the mechanc's for the rest of the day until she could get a tow.

@ojd1990 i have a stage 3 zzp cobalt ss sc been to the track 10 times this year never had an issue with an axel or clutch. Then again i launch at 2000-2500rpm every time

@silfocus84 i have seen sc cobalts with very few mods beat sti[s no problem. so thats not always true

@drummerblade i clutch dump all day at the track with my ss and never had any problems. This guy just dumped it to high and had no clue what he was doing

@daleydog69 My buddy has a stage 1 o5 srt4 plus exhuast and bov upgrade im zzp stage 3 plus suppourt mods an i beat him by 3 cars from a dig and 4 -5 cars from a roll. So hes right and i have an ss sc putting down maybe 260-265 to the wheels. When i was stok=ck and we did a 40 roll he killed me when we raced last week with all my new mods as soon as i stomped the pedal to the floor it was bye bye neon all the way in the rear view.
