If you mean a road into Yelapa we had heard there was a road but not really very good so most supplies come in by boat i believe. As for spending a week, I don't know. We enjoyed our afternoon there. The hotel there is supposed to be good and there are number of bars and restaurants along the beach. If you can handle maybe a few less amenities i would imagine you could have a pretty good time.
