is this uk i rember this being on tv about 3 years ago and finding it creepy

@fayenesse The ad is gory because it has to be, I never wore my seabelt before but since seeing this ad some 5 years ago I always make sure my seat belt is on and also other have them on too.

@FightingGoat23 yeah this was a good ad .. but I found it a little too gory for tv ... its just that as we get older we have more and more violence in our lives ... and after awhile we become numb to it .. which is definetly not good at all for humanity in general..

@fayenesse The few school shootings that happened in the past do not even constitute a ripple led alone a wave. Do not generalize that people will lose their emotions when exposed to violence. School shooters are the unfortunate outcome of poor genetic predispositions and bad home lives/influences.

@fayenesse I didn't say it's a bad thind to be sensitive, but this commercial really wasn't that bad. I believe the intent of this ad was to shock people into wearing their seat belts. And no, I am not desensitized. Oh and as far as the school shooters... If it really were the media turning these teenagers into monsters don't you think school shootings would be a lot more common? Think of all the millions of kids going to school every day. One day a kid brings a gun and everyone freaks out.

@FightingGoat23 Not that this wasn't a powerful ad. It was just very gory. For an ad. It's not a bad thing to be sensitive.
-
I'm Canadian and you are desensitized.
This is why we have teenage rampage shootings. They become so desensitized to the gory things they watch and games they play that life becomes a game and they don't feel the intrinsic remorse a human should feel after murder ...unless they are punished.

@fayenesse typical sensitive american
why is this australian?

I'm not sure I understand the intent of your question
This was a popular ad for South Australia (and possibly wider) b/c of the cultural similarities between the cultures and its intended effect...
