it's 5am and i decided to start fixing some of my shirts. i have exactly the same problem you mentioned at the start, they fit in some places, but are far too 'flat' from my shoulders down, and too long. they're obviously designed to take up 3 stone of beer gut.
i've usually fixed them by rehemming the base (also adding a curve), and then darting the back. the stitching looks a bit too complex for my noob skills, but i'll have to try it at some point.
but the arms are still loose?
