First, Don't call me a nerd. a perpetual motion machine is impossible because it goes against the Laws of physics because of friction! Second watch my vids and PLEASE subscribe!

Just add a few more magnets, and adjust for a fourth day perhaps. It's clearly pretty close to running perpetually.
-
Still a cool design. :)

Well looks good try to align the magnets in the circumference at an angle not perpendicular gauss motors work . Also try to lighten the assembley that spins air friction alone is high on your rig think light and sturdy aerodynamic counts alot here thin discs generaliy used try a cd and CA glue. dont fret lookup how many times edison failed before he got the "RIGHT Filament" for his famed light bulb people scoffed thought he was a mad man GODSPEED and GOOD LUCK

You know why there's no penalty for breaking the laws of physics? 'Cause you can't do it!
-
It looks like you tried for about 5 seconds.
-
it actually needs to be precise, and evenly set up, you can even eyeball that that isn't a well set up spiral, it needs to be more than a half ass attempt.
-
lol also that whole friction air resitance and impossible anyaways thing.
It did not work for you hey, why am I not surprised!

You confuse inertia and momentum with over-sum energy production. An object spinning in a vacuum conserves entropy. Perpetual motion violates it ESPECIALLY in the presence of any kind of friction. You are right that energy is not destroyed, but neither is it CREATED.
