Russ seems to continually come up with so many good melodies with killer progressions and still remain popular with the mainstream. Thats a tough feet but he found the nitch. His use of polymelodic themes make his music feel good with a groove while still showcasing amaizing lead lines and individual chops usually enjoyed by fusion and straight ahead affisionado's.
