If he would take the time to examine all we've accomplished WITHOUT God - science, medicine, technology - he might realise man has MORE value. I believe humans are greater than bugs because of our intelligence, self-awareness and capacity to create. If God is real we are nothing more than ants in an ant farm. @speciwacy Well that wasn't the best point being that stamp collecting has nothing to do with the root of the words we are talking about. which is the belief or faith in something. so Atheism. But everyone does see things differently so I don't think it really matters or not lol

@speciwacy By definition, it is the faith or belief of no deity or divine force. The whole point of a "theism" is the belief or faith in something, so just like the christian defend their faith, atheist, like my self, defend our faith that there is no divine creator. therefore atheism actually is a religion..... of sorts.

Why can't you make your own purpose in life? And why do you have to have the "comfort" of knowing that Hitler's burning in some hell somewhere? Also, you really believe that without some "objective" idea of right and wrong, we'd all be out committing awful crimes? And how can you possibly know that your god is the right god? You never explained that. And lastly, the only thing I CAN take to the bank is real money that I've earned; not some vague platitude or faith-based belief.

Personally I believe the world would be better without religion in general. that goes for Atheism (what I believe) as well. because Religion and beliefs have cause so many bad things in the world to happen and brought about so many extremist. honestly im sure with out religion I know the dark ages of scientific repression in the Renascence would have never happened and society would be at least 600 years more advanced, religion brings nothing but trouble.

Why are some humans so weak and insecure that they need to put themselves above other living organisms? Why do they need a god to feel purposeful? I truly feel sorry for the ones who can't find happiness and purpose within themselves. I've never once watched or read anything from a believer who had any confidence in themselves outside of their belief. I suppose it's a nice placebo... but like a placebo it can be achieved without and it's only in the mind. Best wishes
