Samuel Hazo's well known, contemporary Wind Ensemble chart, arranged for brass and percussion. I basically made this arrangement my own, giving it faster tempos, new transitions, a few additional harmonized themes, as well as the "dci" sound with the highs and lows required for a 'roller coaster ride' off the line opener.

  • I'm a high school student about to write my own show entitled "Harmonic Journey" and I wanted to know if I could use your arrangment of this piece? It's for my entertainment only and no sales will made off of my show.

  • @Jazzylicieux Hi, I do appreciate and support your enjoyment of the chart and your enthusiasm for exploring music expression through composition, however this chart is under contract and I am not able to simply share it without compensation. Sorry

  • hey, im a band director of a german drum corps. am i able to get this music from you?

  • @MrBopehagen Guten Tag Herr Bopenhagen, Ja, natuerlich kann man der Musik haben. However, the full arrangement cost a fee. Which Corps in Deutschland?

  • What program are you using?

  • @aacton240 for composition: Finale Make Music!, the soundfont is custom made. But I do make a few individual tracks and mix them in Adobe Audition.

  • Dat Battery :0 great parts

  • @skershaw2000 I understand completely! Thanks putting it up!

  • loved this, until i was disappointed that the horn rips were left out at the end...

  • @FreakoftheArts73 That's actually a very creative, fresh idea... good input! This, in my opinion, is a very contemporary chart, however, it has a familiarity about it that makes it approachable... not entirely a John Adams out of left field type of chart. But it could definitely use some sprucing up as you suggest.
