Many people think we are just dopey-dopes that fly and crash RC planes and say funny things. Few know that we are and always have been a business since 2005.

From 2005-2008 we made and sold RC airplanes out of our 1 bedroom apt. Then, in early 2008 we started to move to doing videos full time on YouTube. To pay the bills during this time Dave worked part time as a personal trainer, sold stuff on ebay, and worked in construction. For about a year we worked between 60-120 hours per week to make the RC videos. Though they look "fun" "silly" and "dopey" there is just a mountain of research and work behind each one. The goal was to create a fun show that everyone liked and then promote and sell products through the show.

The success that we've made has allowed us to pay a full time employee (Scott) and we've been able to move to a much larger house in Oregon. We have also learned how to do effectively sell and market products on the internet and in the new economy. For 2010 and 2011 we are moving into larger and broader markets.

  • We made a bunch of money making RC vids. So we stopped making RC vids.

    They were good though.

  • @bilgemonkey74 Almost buddy. Try and look just a liiiiitle deeper and read between the lines. There is more to life than meets your 5 SENSES.

  • @OhVeryNice1 hahaha! Dave you should really get on that MBTI youtube show you said you were gonna do! that stuff is so valuable and you are really good at it, which is why i want to learn from you. i don't know anyone else who has more experience than you

  • @PhotoExtremist Oh absolutely, we are working on the Myers Briggs show actually. We are planning it all out now, working on the website, show topics, audio-ebooks, getting a new computer set up for just editing, the whole thing.

Learning the lessons from the runaway production time it takes to do those dancing-sea-monkey-RC-shows... So, being a true INTJ right now and learning, building, perfecting my systems before I start.

  • Dave, it's great to see how far you all have come. I am glad you addressed how much preparation you did to make your youtube videos as good as they were. A lot of people don't understand how much it takes to make ANYTHING genuinely funny AND entertaining at the same time.

  • @Mooshubeef Thanks to much, I appreciate that.
