  • nice! those heavy duty tripods are not too expensive but what is the telescopic pole from? doesn't look like a fishing rod, it has nice latches like small tripods have. I have similar setup for fpv flying video downlink. well done

  • @OK2BCK The pole is carbon fibre with thumb-screw-adjustable weather-proof latches. Our installation on the roof of our building has been deployed for the last year, withstanding 100+ km/h Calgary Chinook winds, ice, snow, etc.
