Those are some classy looking razors. The hollow grinding looks super, if you first is that good, I cant wait to see the what is coming down the line.

I used the tip you gave me of doing full hollows with 2 different wheels. I did a single radius grind with a 10" wheel, then moved over about 1/8" to leave a stabilizer and did the other hollow with a 2" wheel. I tried to walk the grind down with the 2" but I got scared and finished it by hand :) Then I screwed up when I peined it together. It's not exactly centered. It rubs a little when ya open it.

Nice razors Evan! I would be nervous as hell hollowgrinding such a thin edge! Seems it would be very easy to take it to far! Nice job

@PintoBlades how's this for nervous, there's a section that's flat about 1/4" long after the hollow on that finished razor that's .009" thick. lol
I did that by hand though, because there's no way I'm skilled enough to do it with power tools. The hollow on that razor was ground on the top wheel of a 1"X30" so I guess it's a 2" radius. You ever put that lil test blade to the test?

nice razors, have you ever made carving?, knifes they say the best thing to make a carving knife out of is a strate razor .

@hammerman8263 I've made lots of woodcarving knives, mostly from O-1 and 52100. I make razors so I wouldn't wanna make a knife from one when I can just make the knife :)
