It's most likely a GOOD sign that Cain dodges the question.
#1. Unlike a majority of the Repugnantcan candidates he is NOT saying he is opposed. (Ron Paul & Gary Johnson being the notable exceptions)
AND
#2. He would SURELY lose a Repungnantcan nomination if he were to come out in support of 'medical marijuana' or any other show of support of tolerance for any type of use of cannabis. That would SURELY alienate the more conservative (and dominant) base of his party.

You come to Iowa with your mouth full of pizza and find out what happens when you come to Iowa when you try to unload a canned speech instead of an honest answer. We get real tired of retreads, folks. At two out of three supporting medical marijuana we pot heads are not a minority. We are a potent, severely under-represented voting block. Can you say, "President Brad Pitt"? and he's just one example. We are pissed at being taken for a joke and taxed by crime. Representation!!
