Sheriff John Rutherford, Detective Warren Smith and the family of Tina McQuaig will join the Justice Coalition as they announce a reward for information that leads to the person or persons responsible for Tina's murder. Tina, a 27-year-old wife and mother, disappeared on March 15, 2000 after leaving her pharmacy job at Shands Jacksonville. Her car was found a few days later at a Walmart on Normandy Boulevard, but it offered no clues as to her whereabouts. On December 26, 2002, a surveying crew found remains in a wooded area near Cecil Field and in March of 2003, police announced DNA testing positively identified the remains as Tina Marie McQuaig. The Duval County Medical Examiner's office ruled her death a homicide, saying she died under violent circumstances. Police have followed several leads, but have not made any arrests in the case. The T.V. Show "Disappeared: Investigation Discovery" will be focusing on Tina's disappearance and murder in an upcoming episode. The Justice Coalition hopes the reward will help bring in some new information that will solve the case. Anyone with information should call police at (904) 630-0500, email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org or call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
@Bulldog1951 Ohh okay, I wasn't watching then. I'm 13. I do think they should feature her one more time to let people know there is a reward.
