cute dog and I'm glad that they are helping but just because a dog doesn't like to socialize doesn't make it abused. I have a dog that I have since he was a puppy. Once the 2nd fear stage kicked in, he was fearful of other people and other dogs. And would only go up to certain people. I had to enroll him into private training classes and get him a Thundershirt, and D.A.P. He's doing better but still needs more training.

Abuse of animals is closely associated with abuse of people. Look at any society were animal abuse is common & you'll see a society which is abusive of people as well. It is no coincidence that many serial killers start out as children who torture & kill animals who then later move up the food-chain to humans.

Where are their parents? Where is thier goverment aid? They have options and choices, animals on the otherhand do not! They dont know what abuse is, or what care is , they just survive to the best of there abilities, and yeah the children of iraq do the same but at least they have they can sell chicklets for food lol.

It's not a matter of prioritization. The only conflict between animal welfare and human welfare is one that is invented unnecessarily.
Id rather help any animal than any human i dont know to be honest.

What about any money you spend on anything considered unnecessary by others? I'm sure that money could go to help poor and impoverished children, even in your own neighborhood. So according to you, as long as there are people suffering anywhere, nobody can help abused/homeless dogs? Cruel idiots inflict hideous, unspeakable abuse on animals, so animals fully deserve whatever rescue programs people can implement. Either help, or leave people who are doing good alone.
