ANNE BOLEYN | MAY 19TH

Today 475 years ago, on may 19th 1536 Queen Anne Boleyn was executed. This is a tribute video I made for her. Remember her today as she was a remarkable woman.

This song was specially composed for this video! I own nothing but the editing and music. I am NOT going to upload the music because I want to keep it exclusive. I hope you understand.

During the video you hear Anne Boleyn's executing speech which was written by Showtime's The Tudors and based on her real speech.

Good Christian People, I have come here to die according to the law, and thus yield myself to the will of the king, my lord. And if in my life I ever did offend the king's grace, then surely with my death, I do now atone. I pray and beseech you all to pray for the life of the king, my sovereign lord and yours, who is one of the best princes on the face of the earth, who has always treated me so well. Wherefore, I submit to death with a good will, humbly asking pardon of all the world. If anyone should take up my case, I ask them only to judge it kindly. Thus I take my leave of the world, and of you.

I am glad this was only just uploaded today - because 122 views is far too few views for a video as absolutely moving as this one. I simply can no longer watch it - lest I start crying (and I've cried too much in the past few days, what with watching Cromwell's execution for the first time two days ago, and now today, the 19th, with all the marvelous Anne Boleyn tributes.)
