do you need the UMD to use this like to just record videos and pics? what i mean is can i just take the camera out of the box and stick it on my psp and just shoot vids n pix and not have to do anything else other than maybe selecting camera in the psp menu? i dont need to install anything on my psp do I? and i am inpressed at the sound and video quality of this thing. how long can i record on an 8 gig MS pro duo card?

I still use my psp camera more than any other camera, I mean the frame rate is excellent, better than a digital cam, it moves like its actually happening

i don't think there is a prerequisite on that. I have used it with various custom firmware. Obviously, it won't work on 2.0 or lower.

PLEASE HELP, how do i getvideos i take onto the computer???!?!?!!?!? the only way i know, is to use the edit software,but i can only be 15 seconds long, PLEASE TELL ME HOW!!!

What 15 seconds??? There is no time limit. The only limit is the size of available memory on stick. When in usb mode just click and drag the motion jpeg files in the DCIM folder to your computer
