mine is a babyan small like that also .. how much crickets should i feed it a day?
-
cool setup but he is in glass, thats not cool
-
they probably escaped or you fed them to many crickets and the crickets ate them

its possible to get a screen top with thick enough metal screen that crickets cant get out and the chameleon still has ample air, i use one for my tortoise, its a wire screen with solid metal edges, fits over the top of the tank, the screen is thicker than the type youd find on peoples porches on their house

@willemnicolaas007 Yeah, it's possible that the older ones ate babies. You can't keep more than one chameleon in one terrarium (enclosure) because they are very VERY teritorial and they could kill each other.

where did you get that branch? i'm looking for something similar for my gecko

@CleaTheChameleon My current chameleon setup is a custom make 6' x 3' x 2' wood/plexiglass enclosure. Its excellent for viewing him, and impossible for crickets to get out (crickets chew through screen like its made of food). It has an adjustable speed fan in the top blowing fresh air in and venting at the bottom to let the air out. The bottom vents are covered with metal screen so the crickets can't chew through it.

My Chameleon is thin like that, too.
Hello I have baby chameleons and all of a sudden they dissapeared.
We have other chameleons in the garden aswell.
Could it be that the males eat the babies to get to the mother???
Thanx

I have no idea, I suppose its possible. I don't know that much about them, especially in the wild.

It was the day we brought him home from the pet store. He was pretty hungry and thirsty. Not uncommon for lizards fresh from the pet store.
