A short tricopter aerial recording of the "calm before the storm". Recorded in New York City on 8/27/2011 hours before hurricane Irene is going to pass over the city. Winds are still calm and rain is modest, but clouds tell a story of things to come.

@realtvnow Yes, all tolled, this was not as bad as I thought it would. The worst was some flooding in lower parts of Manhattan and other surrounding areas.
