The original soundtrack accompanying the clip from the movie with a twist.

This clip is the part from the movie where Gandalf falls after fighting the Balrog on the Bridge of Kaza Dûm. I have mixed two soundtracks together to produce the audio for this clip. The soundtracks are "The Bridge of Kaza Dûm" by Howard Shore and "The Surface of the Sun" by John Murphy, soundtrack to the movie "Sunshine".

I hope you enjoy this clip as much as I do (probably my favourite film moment of all time), and like what I have done with the audio.

  • IT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT SOME WORDS ARE USELESS

  • Great video, I love the way you have brought both the music and the movie together but combined it insuch away that still has that same emotion which you would get from the original movie. Love it! :)

  • @Gara0master The Balrog's wings and open posture whilst falling would have slowed its rate of decent, compared to Gandalf's aerodynamic streamline posture when he is chasing his sword. Therefore Ganfalf would have achieved and reached terminal velocity quicker than the Balrog and boom batter bing it got hectic. (You could take this further by even arguing that Gandalf in effect also tail gated the Balrog quickening his speed but I think you get the point) ;)

  • E' inspiegabile con le parole la sua bellezza... è incredibile! Più che divina.

  • @Gara0master id assume its because the balrog has wings? so i guess they serve as parachutes but with holes in thus slowing him down a bit compaired to gandalf.....or maybe its just the fact that gandalfs an Istari wizard :P

  • Hows Gandalf faster than Barlog :D Where are Newton laws :DD

  • @ExpertiseGamer Just like yours.

  • @ExpertiseGamer no it's just that music can say something

  • Awesome mashup!

  • @TheSlimDoctor123 You could listen to this and make anything feel sad.

  • "I bought a donut from the store and I couldn't wait to eat it when I got home. When I was taking the groceries out in my driveway, the donut fell out into the mud. I was listening to the Gandalf's Death part from the LotR soundtrack on my Ipod at the same time this happened. It was the saddest event in my life. I will never forget you my precious chocolate donut. You will be in my heart 4ever"
