Abby and I show you how the Gen 6 Nav in a Prius ( also in Venza, 2010 Camry, Tundra, & Sequoia ) which will allow you to set a destination while your driving down the highway. This is a great improvement over our previous Nav systems and solves the problem of stopping to input a destination. Also note that this Nav syste also calls out street name. We wrap up with a brief demo of the Prius self-parking feature.

  • self parking? pretty cool....does anyone have an estimate for the price with the navigation and auto park?

  • Hello. Nothing against Toyota but:

Using voice, the most direct way of finding a dest is by using an address. If you're driving in an unfamiliar place, you want to find a point of interest by name and not by address. Likewise, using a general search using POI only shows 3 results, instead of at least a screen full.

Sad to say, the cost is still more than $2000, and this update has a long way to go to match Garmins' or Google Nav.

If Toyota Nav is FREE, I'd take this.

  • no hard feelings ;-)

  • your bitch talks to them NAV bitch

damn ... i like that, its SEXY

  • @Rlnthndr does watching prius videos remove your man card and heterosexuality as well?

  • hmm, did not know that prius had auto park feature?

  • wow, thats soo cool, except my GMC yukon has been doing that since 2004. And hidden in the fine print of your prius is the removal of your man card, and heterosexuality.

  • Do you have to wait for the lengthy speech before you can give your command every time?

  • I like the random acceleration feature the most.

  • that auto park feature is cool and all but I see a huge problem with it. People who use it will become lazy and when they drive a vehicle without such a feature they'll have more problems than anyone else because they won't have the necessary skills developed to do it. Also, I doubt any government will let someone use it to get their license when told to park. Good feature? Bad feature? I dunno. i like it and i don't like it.
