What's the point here of saying it is "Non Policital, cause Skrewdriver (it's members and it's fans are all NS), the band evolved into national socialism, so it's kind of lame to say "Hey back then, they weren't NS..."

I remember the lead singer from Poultons teanlowe centre discos as a teenager and he seemed alright then ( 1975 ) , certanly wasnt a skinhead then as that era was 5 years before . In fact northern soul was the scene then in the teanlowe . Do not remember him ( ian ) dancing to northern soul though !!

clearly no politics in the song, so the claim is well founded. But if you want to delve into further music by these guys then by all means, doesn't mean this song had politics behind it. Its a song about riots and the mainstream media choosing only what it wants to be said to the public said. get it? Which is something i all hope we can agree on.

Early Skrewdriver were great. I would argue that All Skrewed Up is among the best street punk albums of its time. It was on Chiswick Records along with The Damned and Motorhead. The singer, Ian, went a bit insane and continued to use the name Skrewdriver which tarnished these old classics. The other members on those records did not continue on that path with Ian. The thing that always gets me is how BLACK Ian always sounded. I think he truly was a brother trapped inside a brainless bonehead. Sad
