Albania, Turkey, Jordan, Indonesia and Mali are all Islamic nations that are tolerant of homosexuality, contrary to Christian countries like Uganda, Liberia, Singapore, Zimbabwe and Jamaica, all of which punish people for being homosexual (to varying degrees of severity).

"Oh, but those are BAD Christian countries!" you say.

Afghanistan, Saudia Arabia, Iran etc could all be called BAD Muslim countries.

It's not just Islam that's behind on human rights.

@CanadianPolybius well for one, other religions dont have honour killings, other religions except Jehovahs witnesses and islam have respect and alleigence to their governments and adopted countries. Muslims only submit to God and no one else, so they are the least patriotic people and least considerate. Muslims only care about themselves, they never speak out against injustices against other religions or minorites, they only speak up when somone criticizes their religion.

What makes you think this? Muslims are people. Not all of them are fucking batshit insane, like the abhorrent terrorists you see on TV. Just because someone practices the Muslim faith doesn't mean they devote their whole life to it and will murder people in the name of the mosque they go to every now and then. What is it about Islam that is so different from Christianity, or any other form of religion or ideology?

@CanadianPolybius seriously look it up about the sharia enforced law neighbourhood as self declared by those "peace-loving" and "assimilating" muslims. it doesnt really matter where they're from, they are still muslim and at the end of the day i dont care if they were born in australia or canada, they will always side with islam even if they go against their new country, they will only die for their religion and for their god and will not die for their adopted country

No, I am Australian. I have lived in Australia my entire life.

Now, I have yet to hear of any of these sharia law enforced areas, though I'm sure the government would deal with them if they knew of them. In 2012, of the 1.7% Muslims living in Australia, 36% of them were born in Australia, 10% born in Lebanon (a rather nice confessianalist country ruined by neighbouring wars) , and 8.5% born in Turkey (arguably one of the most secular nations in the world).
