Where did you hear that? A lion is not like.. a pitbull. A lion is a wild animal, evolved millions of years for a single purpose - to survive, so it has evolved to hunt and fight, just like tigers. In fact, they have similar lifestyles except that Lions are social. Both have to fight for their own territory and mate, and both have to hunt (although lions much rarer).

Are you saying that lions never hunt in their entire lives and tigers never fight in their entire lives?

not my point lions are made for fighting all male lions stand taller at the shoulder than tigers the front end is what they use for fighting a tigers power is in its back end for extra speed leaping further and hunting tiger are much better hunters than lions but when it comes to fighting the male lion has no equal most experts agree and as for ppl going on about how a tiger is so much heavyer not so much in the wild most tiger and lions are about the same only a kg or so off a diff in the wild

Lol, tell em who are the most "experts"? Why don't you yourself try emailing some experts, even Circus trainer Clyde Beatty said that 3/4 of experts worldwide would favor the Tiger in a fight. I have emailed hundreds of zoos, sanctuaries, experts all over the world, and from the replies, 80% favor the tiger, and only a handful favors the lion, the other 19% says 50/50. Don't copy information from lairweb, it has been proven to be a false website. A wild tiger is 50kg heavier than a wild lion.

Firstly, please correct your tenses and grammars. Next, so what if i am a tiger lover? LMAO! Does that neccessary mean i am bias? The lion's mane has a purpose, to attract females but not to defend itself during fights, this is according to top lion expert - Craig Packer. And if you are a wild animal who has to depend on yourself to hunt and survive, you would have cursed the evolution for that fugly mane. Both have evolved for a purpose, and it isn't right to rate 1 over the other.

what the fuck is all the argue about, tigers take by far for simple reasons.

1) they weight 40~50 kgs more in avarage than the avarage lion but can still reach 80 kmp/h speed just like the lion, which means he got more muscle mass, and is stronger

2) lions ussualy do not hunt because they rather laze around and let the females do it , how ever at the rare chances they do , they hunt in groups, tigers are lonely hunters and thus better trained at 1vs1 fights.

3) they are bigger .
