@AaronShowbiz The true SM2 was released in Japan. When they did tests with American kids it was too hard. They then took Doki Doki panic and traded out the characters with Mario characters and release it in the US as Super Mario 2. Later the true SM2 was released in the US as Lost Levels.

@AaronShowbiz doki doki panic came first then america got there super mario 2 which is sorta the same thing as doki doki panic. While thats happening in america, Japan got there super mario 2. In america the japanese super mario bros 2 is called super mario the lost levels.
