Loved your video, the editing an music are fantastic. It helped me get a good grade on a project for my Pyrogeography class, which is greatly appreciated. What is the song on this video and the one on the Castle Rock Fire Near Ketchum and Sun Valley Idaho Backburn video also?

Well I do like the heat of summer far better than the bitter cold of winter.
And I would much rather hear of growing summertime forest fires in the news, than have to drive on trecherous ice and snow and see my heating bill soar trying to stay warm.
It's not worth fighting forest fires everywhere, but rather to protect populated areas.

Yeah, it's amazing to see the power of a huge forest fire caught so nicely in a time-lapsed video. The wild fury of nature. Unlimited fuel, unlimited oxygen, and hot, dry gusty weather. Let it burn in areas remote enough.
The video showed spectacular plumes, and a beautiful eerie orange glow breaking out, at night, as I imagine the billowing plumes mean the fire is spreading. And only a tiny helicopter or two, against such a huge, growing forest fire? Can they really be making much difference?
Mark, this was a great video.
It made me miss the last two summers of fire....
It makes me want to get back into it.
Who preforms the song you used?

Well at least forest fires also have a strange sense of beauty, and make way for new growth.
Forests naturally grow a crop called "firewood," that relies upon rain and moisture, to keep it from naturally burning. Unfornately for our convenience and comfort, there isn't always enough rain. Of course trees are also useful for hardwood floors, wall studs, furniture, paper, and jobs. And of course, beauty and camping and hiking.
