Legally blind doesnt mean he is what most people think of. If you have to say legally chances are you could see with some hefty glasses. My mum is legally blind but wears glasses out of which she can see perfectly. This is still pretty cool though. GET SOME GLASSES PETE.

@SirSpicyIII Thanks. And thanks for being the 0.05 percent of people that actually heard and understood what I was saying here. Unfortunately, glasses won't help though. I suffer from macular degeneration. My eyes are actually fine....they just don't get the message to the brain. so I'm stuck the way I am.

@karlofalls all 3 of your brilliants observations have been addressed about 20 times in each this post. You can feel free to scroll through and read any of those prior explanations....or....you can take a closer listen to when I say I'm "legally blind"....which does not mean COMPLETELY blind. Good Lord...I've literally said that 100 times in this post. Why people keep trying to prove me a liar I don't understand. I guess we just live in a very syndical world.

@ericzxvc Yup. You nailed it. I'm not blind. Never said I was. Watch again. I said LEGALLY blind. Pretty clearly actually. ....and there's a big difference. One just sees REALLY REALLY bad. the other doesn't see at all.

@dobba1890 petes right. its the same in georgia. ur not evn supose to be on ur phone at all while driving. they dont evn want ppl using blue tooth if i remember right. but of course if u keep it in ur lap or at ur side n not looking at it who will notice? i see cops all the time txting and driving so they shud inforce the rules on themselves b4 they force them on us but of course thats nvr guna happen.

@dobba1890 I don't know about every state in the Union....but it's not legal in Massachusetts. If a cop catches you texting and driving, you get a ticket no matter what the circumstances are; looking at it or not.

is it legal to text and drive if my eyes never leave the road? (im not blind, but curious....) i have a phone like him where u gotta hit the keys so many times for one letter (chart=222#44#2#777#8) so i memorized the keys and the number of keystrokes for each letter. so is it legal for me to text and drive if my eyes never leave the road?
