@treasurenugget If you don't care for her, that's entirely your prerogative. However, there's no need to be so superior, smug and disdainful; and to say you know you "speak for all legitimate opera singers" is laughable not to mention the height of hubris.

This woman is famous because she is beautiful, nothing more. That's not to say that she doesn't sound pretty, but I know I speak for all legitimate opera singers when I say that there is a vast chasm between those who sing in a classical style, and someone who has a true operatic voice. Her voice has an interesting big quality to it, but aside from that, in the world of classical singing her voice is ordinary, and sounds as though she has never seriously coached or trained with anyone.
