Lynn Carlin is utterly fantastic in this film! It's a shame her career didn't pan out, but if Ruth Gordon's tremendous "Rosemary's Baby" performance wasn't up against hers, Carlin shoulda won the Oscar =).
Seymour Cassel was also fantastic. Their exchanges were the highlights of what I consider to be John Cassavetes's finest film. I just also like to make sure Carlin received her due credit. Did not know about that secretary fact though--awesome <3.
ARE YOU SERIOUS??? a secretary? Wow...I have always heard about this movie of Cassavetes but I've never seen it. I have been meaning to watch it. I love A Woman Under the Influence...I saw that years ago.
how the fuck did i manage to guess this is cassavettes within 30 seconds having never even seen one of his films...
