This show is a fond childhood memory for me also. Ozzie is one of my favorite tv characters of all time.

I love how he calls the show a "repeater".  Guess that they didn't invent the word "rerun" til later?

Yes, this is a repeat brodcast; occcasionally, Ozzie liked to sift through his inventory of previous episodes, pull out one of his favorites, and share it again with viewers (he did this through the 1964-'65 season). This episode was originally telecast on April 1, 1955, and repeated on June 29, 1956- the last scheduled episode of the season before the Nelsons took their summer vacation break [they returned that fall on a new night- Wednesdays- with a new sponsor, Eastman Kodak].
