Surround yourself with like-minded people!

Hello Everyone,

One of the best ways to learn about a topic that you are interested in is by surrounding yourself with like-minded people.

When you hang out with people that are on the same 'path' as you, things become easier.

These people tend to understand you and your interests. You can often bounce ideas off these people, and in return get educated, well thought out responses.

One of the greatest benefits that I find, is the energy and momentum that I develop after associating myself with people with a similar vision as mine.

These people are helpful in finding solutions to problems. Together with this group, it will be easy to come up with reasons why you should DO something, as opposed to coming up with reasons as to why you should NOT do something.

You always have to ensure that the like minded people that you are spending time with have a positive outlook. Having a positive outlook is key, as an individual may be like minded, however, they may bring with them negative energy, either knowingly or unknowingly.

I am a firm believer that people who bring negative energy for the most part, know that they bring this negative energy. On the rare occasion, there are individuals who have no clue that they are negative and that they rub people the wrong way, and yet they continue to do so. Be cautious here, as these people may be liked minded, however, they could prove to be a distraction to you, or even worse steal away your energy and momentum.

On the topic of real estate investment, it is so important to associate yourself with people with common goals. There are many things to learn with respect to real estate investing. Hanging out with people that have 'gone before you', allows you to learn from these people's experience and possibly mistakes as well.

Meeting consistently with a group of like minded people is important. The consistency of these meetings helps to ensure that you are constantly staying motivated. If your meetings are irregular, so too will be your results.
