Really appreciating the sound quality of this well-done video, sounds no different than if I'd popped a copy of the album in my laptop tray.
Vega is one of the most well-rounded musicians I've ever had the pleasure of listening to, from her voice, to her song-writing, to her musical arrangements. She wasn't afraid to push some boundaries w/ her over-all sound, adding instruments and studio effects to give her songs an alt-rock tilt. She earned my unwavering respect a long time ago.

No idea why it works so well with this brilliant song (I was expecting something dark or corny). It just does...

Suzanne is my 2nd favorite of all-time, but this is the ONLY track i enjoy from this otherwise substandard album. Am i off base? Why do i love her entire oeuvre so much, save for this album? This song, though, is one of her absolute finest moments--lyrically as well as musically...along with Fat Man and Dancing Girl, and Widow's Walk... oh, and Soap and Water...and Fancy Poultry...and Blood Makes Noise...and World Before Columbus...and Cracking...and ....i could continue another 99.9 songs !
